Calling out fried chicken lovers in Sunway!
Being a regular customer of Nomms, I personally felt this eatery is highly underrated and deserves your attention, especially if you’re a fan of fried chicken.
The restaurant gives out a clean, minimal and laidback vibe with its green metal chairs, wooden tables and floors, cute paintings and sticky notes left by the customers.
NOMMS is a self-service restaurant. When we first entered the restaurant, we greeted by the staffs at the order counter and we ordered our foods.
The menu itself consists of two menus, set menu and a la carte menu. For the price, it’s somewhat expensive for food price around Sunway University area but considering the taste it’s kinda reasonable at least for me 😀
For me, I ordered Double trouble set with fries and lime drink which is RM 17.90
The chicken was very meaty inside and crunchy outside also the hash browns was very delicious.
My friend ordered Spicy and Salted Egg Signature Nomms Fried Chicken set with Aglio Olio Pasta which is RM 14.90. The sizes of the chicken pieces were quite decent, especially considering the price. Like any other tasty fried chicken, the flavours are concentrated at the skin part. Personally, the salted egg flavour is my favourite.
Fried Boneless Chicken Chop Spicy flavoured set (RM 15.90)
Grilled Chicken Chop set with Mashed Potatoes (Black Pepper Gravy) cost RM 16.90
The fragrant and flavours from the grilled was quite tasty as well.
Verdict
To say Nomms serves quality fried chicken at an affordable price would be pretty accurate. Taste-wise it doesn’t disappoint either. This restaurant is perfect for those who are looking for a tastier alternative to the usual staple fast food eateries.
