If you want to play sports socially, getting fitter and healthier or be part of a team, Sunway is the place to be for students who love sports. Occupying roughly 9 hectares of prime land in Bandar Sunway, Sunway University offers their students more sporting facilities, such as an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a full-sized field for football, rugby, hockey and cricket, courts and equipment for tennis, basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis; just to name a few. Tournaments for all the students are gradually being held by the clubs every semester. Being one of the prestigious universities in Malaysia, they are sure to provide the top class facilities for their students to keep them healthy and in their best shape. Quoted from Virgil, “The greatest wealth is health” and it is indeed what Sunway is providing for their students.
The first FIFA Certified Football Turf Field in Malaysia. It is located in front of the university building and student can booked the field through sunway iZone, however the field is always occupied because the field is often used for the sunway football team training and is also used for certain university events. Students can also join the sunway football team but they have to past the qualification test first. Interesting isn’t it!
Both tennis and basketball court are located just beside the football field. The basketball court is flexible and can also be used as the futsal court. The booking of the court can also be done through the sunway iZone website.
The swimming pool is located at Sun-U Residence, just 3 minutes walk from Sunway University and it is an Olympic size swimming pool with a depth ranged from 120 to 200 cm.
Oftenly you guys must be bored while waiting for the next class, okay, Sunway really got your back! You guys can play the Ping-pong sport! This table tennis court is located in the college building and is inside the student life center. You can use the court for free and the court is available from 8.a.m to 5.p.m. College building is just behind the Sunway University, and it’s connected.
So for future Sunway Students especially Indonesian, don’t need to be confused about Sunway’s facility! They offer you the best facility ever!
